DISPOSABLE PHOTO SHOW

/ By Mike Glory

This past Saturday we were proud sponsors of DISPOSABLE Photo show at New Image Gallery in Hollywood:

“Building upon an ongoing project, Disposable: A Photo is a tribute to a period in time when people shuffled through and held photos in their hands. This exhibition shares it’s allegiance to 90’s era values of resourcefulness and thrift and serves as an homage to the disposable camera and the 1 hour photo processing experience. Cheap / easy with a fast food type quality, speedy prints document the destruction. The 1 hour photo exhibit is also a subtle nod to a generation that preceded this shift in photography’s direction. Calling upon those who have had their hand in this process of picture taking and photo collecting and recall curiosity being key in it’s experience.”

Big Thanks to Brandon of The MCHN and for including us and to Ese Victor for connecting the dots. Check out this brief recap, Photos by: MORGNAR of Active Ride Shop.

Us Versus Them presents “Keepers of the Craft” volume 2: Meyer Chassis

/ By Mike Glory

We are pleased to present our latest “Keepers Of The Craft” project featuring “Meyer Chassis”. I first met Dustin around 5 years ago, I had heard about him and his work thru a couple friends and at this time I had my 1954 Chevy 5 window truck that needed some suspension work done(airbags). I called him up and made plans to bring my truck by so he could check it out and give me a quote, The following week when I arrived at his shop I saw someone who, is too this day one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. An incredible fabricator, A bad ass hot rod builder and a straight up solid dude who is truly a “Keeper of the Craft”. Im honored to have the UVT garage retail space paired up with his shop and stoked to have him currently building my 1952 Suburban.

For this project we have a special limited edition tee and shop apron. The tee is a flip of our OG crosscut logo(Palm tree & Machete) with a welding twist, Hand drawn and illustrated by Victor Koast. Next up we teamed up with Railcar Fine Goods and they produced a special 12 ounce American Cone Mills selvedge denim shop apron with our magnum & crosscut logos embroidered.
